Group trips are great for traveler’s looking to join up with others on safari. From multi-day camping trips to epic steam train journeys and luxury cruises there are many options. These scheduled trips have set departures throughout the year.

Insider’s Tip: A single supplement is the fee solo traveler’s pay to cover the unoccupied half of their accommodations. If you are a single traveler group trips are generally the most cost effective option as they have lower single supplement costs than tailor-made safaris. In fact several of the trips below have no single supplement at all!

IMPORTANT: There are hundreds of group trips in Africa many of which we do not suggest for a variety of reasons (areas visited offer little wildlife, group size too larg, overpriced, etc...).
