From early July 2020 Fastjet will offer direct flights from South Africa’s Kruger Mpumalanga Airport to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and from the Falls to Kruger!

The only other way to get from Kruger to the Falls (or from the Falls to Kruger) in one day has been to fly to / from Zambia’s Livingstone Airport on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls… for guests staying on the Zimbabwean side of the Falls this necessitates crossing the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe – somewhat more time consuming.

The new FastJet service starts July 6, 2020 as below:

• FastJet flight FN8801 will depart Victoria Falls at 11:20 AM, arriving at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport at 1:05 PM.
• FastJet FN8802 will depart Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport at 1:35 PM, arriving Victoria Falls at 3:15 PM.
• This service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Having noted the above we are watching this new service closely… Fastjet may very well be on the verge of bankruptcy and a number of the their flights have been suspended in Tanzania and Mozambique. At this time we are not recommending this new service.
