Starting March 11, 2016 South African Airlink will be flying direct between Cape Town, South Africa and Maun, Botswana on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The flights will depart Cape Town at 10:35AM arriving into Maun at 1:05PM. The flight from Maun will depart at 1:35PM to Cape Town arriving at 4:10PM.
Travelers will no longer have to connect through the busy Johannesburg Airport using 2 flights. This will save a good deal of time as we typically suggest a 2 to 3 hour layover between the connecting flights.
Air Botswana tried this routing before but the airline was unreliable and service was stopped after some months. We expect South African Airlink’s service to be far more reliable.
Stay well,
